On Sunday morning, Dec. 24th, Common Ground will participate in a very special Christmas Eve service with all five of the churches that currently worship on the Parkside Campus--Global Community (Korean), El Buen Pastor (Spanish), New Creation (Chinese), Calvary Parkside (English) and of course, Common Ground! If you haven't had the opportunity before, it is a wonderful experience hearing Christ celebrated in different languages!
This combined celebration of Christ's birth begins at 10:30 Sunday morning, with doors opening at 10:00. For this service, there will not be any Sunday School classes that morning, but a 'self-service' crying room will be available in the Fireside Room, which is located next to the kitchen. It is for parents and their kids only!
New Sermon Series for Christmas 2023
Humanity loves adventures. We value discovery and finding lost treasure. So, it is odd that the greatest event in history occurred to lackluster fanfare. Few hyped knowledge of the incarnation as the discovery of a lifetime. And those who actually pursued the newborn king were an unlikely cast of field hands and foreign travelers. Common Ground invites you this December to rediscover the love of God through the narrative of a baby Jesus of Nazareth. We are going In Search Of A Newborn King.
