Families
At Common Ground, we believe that children are an important part of our community of faith. We want them to be active participants in our worship services, and we provide opportunities for them to learn and grow in their faith. During our worship services, children are invited to sing, clap, dance, and express their joy in praise and worship to God. We also offer kids' classes during the sermon for all children from birth to fifth grade. These classes provide a safe and fun environment for children to learn about God's love and to ask questions.
If you have any questions please contact our Children’s Pastor, Lori! lori.vdk@gmail.com
Nursery
Parents can bring their children age 0-3 years to attend our nursery class after worship (singing) where they will be cared for by loving volunteers through play and bible stories.
Elementary
Children ages 4-5th grade are invited to attend our weekly Bible class during the sermon. In this class, they will learn about God's love for them, Jesus' death and resurrection, and the hope that we have in Him.
Youth
6th-12th graders are invited to participate in monthly events and a class specifically for them during the sermon on the first Sunday of each month. We encourage them to ask questions and participate in discussions to strengthen their faith in the Lord.
