Join us Sunday, October 20, 2-6 p.m., as we gather at the Robnett farm in North Plains for good food, games, horse rides and worship! This is a great event for inviting friends, family and neighbors. And remember, there will not be a service at Parkside that evening!

2pm—Horse rides for the kids
3pm—Games for everyone
4pm—Potluck with music
5pm—Singing & Devotional Message
6pm—End, help clean up!
For the potluck, everyone should bring a main dish. We would love to taste your favorite chili recipe…hint, hint!! In addition, please bring:
--A-K, please bring a side dish (to serve 8-10)
--L-P, please bring a dessert dish (to serve 8-10)
--Q-Z, please bring a side and beverages (to serve 8-10)
You might also want to bring:
--Folding chairs or a large blanket to sit on during the potluck and message
--Layers of clothing. The day can start warm but it cools quickly as the sun sets!

Close Encounter with Common Ground -- Fall Kickoff
Join us for our Fall Kickoff called Close Encounter with Common Ground on Sunday, September 15. Come hear about our ministries for kids, youth, young adults, life community groups, and more. Also join us as we pray for schools and dream about how to bless our communities. Stay for refreshments and get to know us a little better. Hope you can make it!

Adopt A Roadway Litter Removal and Picnic
Common Ground, an·them, and Parkside is invited to engage our community for the first Adopt A Roadway Litter Removal event on Saturday, July 27 from 10:00 - 11:30 am. The adopted area is SW Erickson Avenue between SW Allen and SW Farmington. In addition, there will be a few church campus projects to help with. Arrive at Parkside by 9:45 am for a time of prayer and instructions. We have Volunteer Tshirts for participants to wear.
Bring the following:
- rakes, hoes or other yard tools to remove grass and weeds along sidewalks
- push brooms and dust pans
- work gloves
- bottled water and hats (it could be a hot day)
There will be a church picnic at Evelyn Schiffler Park Shelter A following the workday from 11:30 am - 2:00 pm. Even if you do not participate in the workday, come and have some fellowship with us. The picnic is a BRING YOUR OWN FOOD event. Each family should bring:
* meat for BBQ/or prepared main dish for their own family (and a little extra to share)
* Beverages
* Salad or side dish /dessert for the potluck
* Plates, cups and utensils
* bags of ice
